Paul, I met my cousin Tom Moore some years ago and was sorry to hear he passed from cousins some time ago. He shared a story of Rory O'Moore when we visited. He sent me a copy of Olden Times some years ago. Do you know the story and how might I get some other historical articles by Tom Moore. It was great to see your web site. Thanks.

Hi all , like the site , hi to all the Rogers clan in Gtown , and all the cousins around the town , how about we start a petition to bring back the proper Garristown festival the full week of events from the golfing to the Amusements beside the Graveyard, also the bike races the Hunt , the bale throwing , the gorgeous burgers , and the music for the week, a lot of business made their money from that whole week and it got stopped because some female garda wife couldnt stand people walking on her grass, heres a tip buy a fence, apart from that the festival was one of the best events of the year for me to see all my family and friends from around the area, friends and girlfriends where made each year at it , I think we should all get involved in bringing it back to life and get it kicking off again , and also It would Be nice to see my grandads cup being fought for again , the Joe Rogers memorial clay pigeon cup , come people on we know we all want it ,itd e great if Lilly Rogers could give that cup away again one more time
