What a beautiful village! Members of my family (Walshe) lived around there in the 50's and it's amazing to see it online! Keep up the good work, I'll look in often. Do any Walshe's still live there? | |

So glad to find this site. I visited Garristown in 2001, and loved it. My great-Great Grands are buried in the old cemetery. I purchased a wonderful book published by the Historical Society, called "Olden Times in Garristown, dedicated to Tom Moore, Society Chairperson at the time. Can you tell me if he is still with the Society? I would like to contact him. Do you know if the Garristown Historical Society has a website I may visit? Thanks for your efforts with the website. I was delighted to find it! |
